Automobiles in German City Discovered Covered with Nazi Symbols in Human Blood, Law Enforcement State

Police reported they were notified by a man who found a car in Hanau covered with red-colored fluid

Roughly fifty vehicles have been marked with what seems to be human bodily fluid in the Germany's city of Hanau close to Frankfurt, police confirm law enforcement.

Cars, building surfaces and postal boxes were defaced, occasionally with swastikas, they stated in a statement.

Officers say they were notified during the night on Wednesday, when a man observed that a car in the Lamboy neighborhood of Hanau had been marked with a reddish substance.

The liquid had been drawn in the form of a swastika, they reported.

Law enforcement then discovered many other vandalized vehicles and house walls in the nearby vicinity.

These symbols are illegal in Germany under legislation banning the public exhibition of symbols from the Nazi era.

Police state early analysis show the substance was most likely blood from a person.

"There is still no lead as to where it came from; investigators are not yet cognizant of any injuries in connection with the event," they commented.

City officials stated they were attempting "to unravel the incident" and have asked to the residents for information.

A senior official said the attack made him without words and required to be resolved rapidly.

"This event hits the core of Hanau and revives the wounds of the extremist terrorist attack five years ago," he stated on a platform, recalling the death of nine people by a gunman aiming at individuals of foreign heritage in February 2020.
